Sell property fast is a slogan that is being seen increasingly more often in today's depressed property market. How is it possible to sell property fast when sometimes it seems that it is impossible to sell property at all?
Fortunately for people who really do need to sell property fast, and are willing to accept a reduction in the price they obtain (often in return for some other perk), then it certainly is possible and there are plenty of organisations who are able to facilitate this.
Today selling property on the open market can be a nightmare of an experience. First there are HIPS, the so-called and totally useless Home Information Packs, then the price for which estate agents are willing to market your home is very disappointing considering the prices they were suggesting just two years ago, then there are the estate agents fees and conveyancing costs. Given the depressed market it can take a year to find a buyer, and then they will try to reduce your asking price by ten percent or so, that is even if they can obtain a mortgage that will enable them to purchase your property in the first place.
Step in a cash buyer. Suddenly there is no need for any of the above costs and frustrations. And if you are just looking for equity release and don't really want to move, then you can sell your home and rent it back. There are many organisations out there who are willing to purchase your home from you on a cash basis.
Of course it is unlikely that you will receive the full market value, but you should anticipate receiving around £75% of what it would achieve on the open market, plus there will be no estate agents and legal fees to pay. If you need a fast house sale for what ever reason then this reduction in selling price is probably a price worth paying.
