The slow and problematic housing market at this time is a big plus for buyers looking for a great deal. Prices are drastically down in most areas of the world right now. You can find an excellent deal on an awesome house in a previously high market for 3/4 and sometimes 1/2 the appraised value of 2 years ago!

Although property prices are falling, returning numbers of home buyers are still at a record low. Many home owners are therefore turning to equity release as a good solution to release capital from their property.

Buyers will have to have squeaky clean credit scores. Most lenders are not going to lend money to anyone without excellent credit at this time. It would be a great opportunity for anyone with cash flow and or great credit to buy some investment properties. Many of the families getting foreclosed on will have to rent a home in the very near future. There is going to be a wide influx of renters looking for nice rental properties to move into. An investor would be wise to buy some nice rental houses which could be fixed up into investment property until the time is right to sell again.
